My 2010 year was a blend of happiness/excitement and joyous occasion! It was also laden with pain and sadness(loss).
Let me start off with great news-starting at the beginning of 2010!
In mid January I received an email from Rebbecca Rome- an mutual friend on Face Book-asking me if I would be interested in meeting a young man, and I said sure! This young man introduced himself and we talked from there...his name is Aaron Labrecque...after a while we got to know each other pretty well and became boy friend and girlfriend! He is an amazing man! I love him and adore him so much! Words can not explain!
On September my Step Grand father passed away... that was hard for all of us :-( My family and I would go and visit Grandma and comfort her.
During the Summer months and beginning of fall, I had this awful experience! my mouth was hurting and we(my family) and I chalked it up to my wisdom tooth coming in..it was hurting for about 6 months..and my right side of my mouth and face was puffy and very sore.So, I finally decided to make an appt. to see the dentist...and he took an X-ray and lo and behold it was a small cavity! MY VERY FIRST cavity....on top of that...or shall I say under that?! Because, I ended up having a very very painful root canal- my first ever! That, my friends was definitely a bitch to deal with! I had to go into the dentist for four visits for this stupid tooth!
In September, My mom and I went to Alaska wit Aaron and my mom and I got to meet his parents and one of his siblings! I went fishing for the first time and caught Halibut!! It was delicious!! I threw up most of the time on the fishing trip..that was because of disobedience...I didn't take Dremimine....so the result was not good...but all in all, I had a great fantastic and wonderful time with Aaron and his family!
In November a HUGE event occurred! Aaron Proposed in mid November! I am ENGAGED!
We have not set the wedding date yet..we are thinking either winter or spring of 2012.
In December, we had Christmas and visited my Aunt Colleen Great Grandma (who also happens to be my God Daughter...she is going to be 99 years old this 2011 year! My grandma was there too! I got to spend some time just with my Grandma and Aunt Colleen and we had girl time!
So, this come to my conclusion,
2010 started out like a roller coaster of very good and happy events. then sad/painful events..then it was smooth sailing at the end!
